Dorina Andreev has been working with UNICEF, WHO, UNDP and Terre des Hommes over the past 15 years, developing an expertise in the field of behavior and social change. She has worked in countries as diverse as Belarus, Benin, Chad, Moldova, Nigeria, Romania, Russia, Senegal, Syria, Turkmenistan and Ukraine, assessing community intervention projects and developing strategies to change social norms, individual and collective behaviors. These strategies – addressing issues such as child rights, immunization, gender-based violence, youth engagement, inclusive education and reproductive heath – are based on analysis and baseline data, gathered through desk reviews, opinion polls, focus groups and in-depth interviews. Dorina also manages participatory exercises for the development, operationalization and implementation of these strategies. Dorina is pursuing a PhD in the field of behavior and social change with a focus on social norms.
