Elana Banin

Elana Banin most recently led research analytics at PATH’s advocacy and public policy department and has nine years of experience in public policy, strategic analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

This includes having acted as a researcher and advocate for varying global initiatives including national and human security in ASEAN’s development sector; Middle Eastern governance with a focus on Syria; the role of politicized funding in the Arab-Israeli conflict; and strengthening support by the US federal government for public health issues such as infectious diseases, biomedical research, and maternal and child health.

Elana holds an MA in International Security and Diplomacy from Tel Aviv University and a BA in international studies and communications from Muhlenberg College.
