Ashma Shrestha

 

Ashma Shrestha is a social and behaviour change professional with experience working at UNICEF and UN women in country and regional offices of South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

Ashma has led behavioural and social norm change programming and management, which includes community engagement, development and facilitation of training manuals, monitoring using qualitative and quantitative tools, and research on social norms change. She is also passionate about promoting dignified storytelling methodologies to advocate for child rights, gender equality and social inclusion. She has over 12 years of experience in social and behaviour change, corporate communication and knowledge management.

Ashma, a Nepali national based in Sydney, has Master's degrees in journalism and mass communication (Sikkim Manipal University) and gender and development (University of Melbourne).
