Emily Cholette

 

Emily Cholette is a strategic communications and monitoring and evaluation specialist, designing and implementing Communication for Development (C4D) approaches to counter-trafficking, labor migration, human rights and youth participation projects. She has experience in research management, partnership building and communications in the Asia-Pacific region.

Emily currently leads the communications and outreach strategy for a data and research global platform on human trafficking and child labor at the United Nations University Centre for Policy Research in New York. Previously she was the C4D Officer at IOM X, the International Organization for Migration’s counter-trafficking media campaign, and at MTV EXIT, an MTV corporate social responsibility counter-trafficking initiative, both based in the Asia-Pacific region.

A Canadian national, Emily holds a Master’s degree in Media, Communications and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
