Francesca Jessup

Francesca Jessup is a senior development consultant with a primary focus on post-conflict peace-building issues, democratic governance and human rights. She has more than 20 years’ experience in Latin America in evaluation studies, strategic policy design, and program and project planning. Her country experience includes El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Bolivia, with analyses of the experiences and best practices of cooperation agencies (UNDP, Sweden, EU, Denmark, UNICEF, IDB, USAID and UNHCR). 

Her evaluation experience covers conflict analysis, human rights protection, strengthening rule of law, enhancing civil society participation, gender equity, and violence prevention. A resident of El Salvador, she was a staff member of the UNDP Country Office in El Salvador in the decade after the 1992 Peace Accords, working with the team tasked with providing technical assistance for the implementation of the Accords.
