Natalia Alvarez

Natalia Alvarez Molinero is a leadership and communication consultant with more than 15 years of experience in international organizations such as the UN and the European Commission as well as the private sector. Her work focuses on addressing conflict constructively, assisting minority groups to participate effectively in difficult conversations in complex, uncertain and volatile environments.

A former human rights lawyer, Natalia uses storytelling, social psychology, human rights and mediation to develop stakeholders’ communication and leadership skills. She is an ICF-trained coach and an accredited mediator qualified by the International Mediation Institute. She also has worked as a lecturer in human rights and international development at the University of East Anglia and the University of Aberdeen, among others.

Natalia, a British and Spanish national, holds a PhD in law in the field of international law and indigenous peoples.
