Peggy Hanna has worked over 30 years as a strategist and capacity builder in health promotion, communication for development, risk communication and social marketing, primarily in the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA).

Peggy is a regional consultant and university lecturer on health promotion, strategic communication, risk communication, social marketing and capacity building. She has worked with UN agencies, INGOs, Italian Cooperation, the World Bank, UNDP, UNFPA, YMCA, American University of Beirut, Lebanese American University, and Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs, among others.

In recent years, Peggy has been working with WHO and UNICEF in the humanitarian emergency and development sectors in the MENA region. She holds a Master’s Degree in Health Education and an MBA in Health Services Management. She is a Lebanese national and is fluent in Arabic, French and English.
