Supriya Mukherji

 

Supriya Mukherji is a Social and Behavior Change consultant with more than 30 years’ experience with UNICEF, the World Bank and other development agencies in South and East Asia, Africa and the Middle East. She has extensive experience in developing evidence-based SBC strategies and training, applying behavioral science approaches. In this regard, she uses formative and evaluative research using quantitative, qualitative and participatory methodologies.

Supriya has worked in the areas of immunization, nutrition, WASH, sexual and reproductive health and rights, HIV, violence against children, education, disease control, early childhood development and adolescent participation. This work has emphasized gender and social transformative approaches to change harmful gender and social norms. Her earlier background was in advertising, market research and brand management in the private sector. Supriya is an Indian national.
