Violeta Cojocaru

 

Violeta Cojocaru is a Social and Behavior Change expert, with more than 20 years of experience working for UNICEF as a staff member and as an independent consultant.

She has worked with change and social impact in many countries in West and Central Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and South Asia, and specializes in complex social and behavior change challenges across all developmental and social domains. This includes significant experience with delivering humanitarian support in conflict and emergency settings, and capacity development.

Violeta is solution-oriented and, when developing strategies and action plans, always focused on seeing the big picture, and ensuring that social and behavior change initiatives are informed by rigorous analysis and understanding of behavioral barriers and enablers, and practical application of theory to develop innovative solutions.

Violeta is a national of Moldova and is fluent in English, French, Romanian and Russian.
